We are looking for two female personal assistants to support a 54 year old gentleman in his own home and out socially in the community.  This gentleman has cervical myelopathy and is wheelchair dependent.  They require support in the mornings to shower, dress, apply cream and massage legs, administer medication and breakfast preparation (cereal).  In the evenings support is required to dress for bed and meal preparation (ready meal).  It is important to this gentleman to access the community, going out for walks, cinema, gym and meals.  This post would suit someone with similar interests and a driver with access to their own vehicle will be required.  This gentleman can walk small short distances with support and a Zimmer frame. There are no pets at the property currently, although they are looking at rehoming a cat.

As this post is 7 days a week it could be shared between two people.

This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
