Hours:                  10 hours per week term time

25 hours per week holiday time

Wage rate:          £9.50 per hour

Location:             Fenham

Duration:             Permanent

Hours can be split among 2/3 posts.

A Personal Assistant is required to provide quality 1-1 personal and social assistance to a happy, sociable 11 year old boy, with a cheeky sense of humour.

You will accompany him to various activities in his local community and also provide some support within the home at busy times.

There is also an element of educational support in the form of ABA therapy (Applied Behaviour Analysis).  The ABA program will focus heavily on teaching communication skills, social & play skills, academic literacy and self-help skills.  Full training will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career in behavioural, educational, clinical psychology or speech and language therapy.

Driver essential with access to a car suitable for a manual wheelchair, when folded, to go in.
