Female Personal Assistant (SUO/DP/003/19)

Female Personal Assistant – to cover maternity leave

Hours:                  up to 14 hours per week

7 hours to be worked on a Monday and ideally on a Saturday however this day can be flexible

(Flexibility may be required at times to cover sickness and holidays when needed)

Temporary contract to March 2020 (maternity cover) this will be reviewed

Location:             Blakelaw

Pay Rate:            £9.00 per hour

Personal Assistant required to provide assistance to a friendly young lady called Summer who has a visual impairment.  The role will be to assist Summer with her parenting role including taking her young children out to do various activities, including swimming, going to the park, going to nursery and shopping.  You will ensure Summer and her children’s safety and guide them around familiar and unfamiliar places.

You should be available to work on Mondays and ideally Saturday mornings however this can be flexible.

Further information on the tasks involved are in the job description and will be discussed further at interview.

A driver with a clean license is essential, however own transport is not essential as you will need to drive her Motability vehicle in order to go out and about.  You must also be 25 or older for insurance purposes.  You must be friendly, confident and enthusiastic.
