Female Personal Care Assistant (HST/Cullercoats)

£8.75 per hour (employed rate), £10.00 per hour (self-employed rate)
Various hours available to cover a 7-day rota – days can be negotiable.

Morning call approx. 9am for an hour and 15 mins
Lunch call approx. 1pm for 45 mins
Tea call approx. 4.30pm for an hour and 15 mins
Bed call approx. 7.00pm for 30 mins

I am looking to employ a Female Personal Care Assistant to care for my elderly mother in her home, to assist her to get up, shower, dress and provide breakfast. To provide a light lunch, a meal at tea call and to assist into bed on an evening call.

The role can be employed or self-employed and I am looking for someone who is honest, caring and reliable.

Further hours will be required to cover other carers over their holidays or sickness if possible. An enhanced DBS will be requested.

If you are successful your application form will be stored electronically throughout the course of your employment and 6 months thereafter. It will then be deleted. We may share your information with our payroll service in order for them to carry out the payroll service to your employer.

If a DBS is required we will scan and email your DBS information to the information officer at Newcastle Civic Centre. Documents will be stored securely and electronically until the DBS comes back and they will then be deleted.
