Full-Time Female Personal Assistant (FD/Newcastle)

Full-time Female Personal Assistant position

A rare opportunity has become available to join a team of Personal Assistants (PAs) directly employed by a young professional disabled woman based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Salary £20, 524 per year plus paid overtime.

The post is a permanent, full-time position, working ‘on duty’ for 3.5 consecutive days and overnights, followed by 3.5 days being available ‘on-call’ to cover staff sickness and planned long-distance travel, followed by 7 days completely off every fortnight

The role includes providing physical assistance for a disabled woman to live independently in her own home and to undertake her demanding yet rewarding role at a large UK campaigning organisation, with frequent travel across the UK and occasionally Europe.

Applications are encouraged from people both with and without prior Personal Assistant and health care experience, as this job is guaranteed to be unlike most traditional care work roles.
