We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a family and their 10 year old son who has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and learning difficulties. Previous knowledge and work experience is preferred, and parents would welcome applications from those who are active and have a patient manner.    A driver with access to their own vehicle is also preferred and an enhanced DBS is essential .   Some flexibility around working hours is required although hours are currently planned for two evenings each week and a 4 hour shift 1 weekend per month.  (some additional hours may also be available initially)

  • Hours:          20 hours per month
  • Hourly rate:  £9.00
  • Holidays:      5.6 weeks per year (pro rata)
  • Area:            South Shields
