Hours 4 hours per week during school holidays, 2-1 support to work alongside another PA. To be discussed at interview.
Rates of pay £9.50
Location Lemington

We are looking Personal Assistants to assist and support our 8-year-old son. He has a complex profile and requires 2-1 support.
We already have a PA in place who has been working with our son for a while. The role will be to work alongside each other providing support for our son to safely take part in activities in the community.
Our son can display challenging behaviour so you must be confident in dealing with this and willing to learn the strategies we use. He can have some difficulties with communication, but you will get to know his way of getting across what he wants to say.
You should ideally have experience of working with children or adults with autism and challenging behaviour.
Preferably, you should also be a driver and willing to use your car (petrol allowance will be paid) however we do have a 7 seater vehicle you will be able to use, as long as you are over 25 for insurance purposes.
Our son is a happy little boy with a great sense of humour, so if you are enthusiastic, confident, patient and willing to work towards different goals with him then this role could be for you.
