Hours 6 hours per week – hours can be flexible to fit in with your current commitments
Rate of Pay £9.70 per hour

Location West end of Newcastle

Personal Assistant required for friendly 28-year-old man who has agoraphobia. You will support with everyday tasks around his home including light domestic tasks. The main part of the role will be to enable him to go to places of his choosing such as the cinema, for walks, visiting museums and shopping and to support with growing his confidence when out and about.
You should be confident and friendly but firm as the role will involve encouraging when maybe he doesn’t want to do something. This role would be ideal for someone who has good boundaries and will focus on supporting with his goals.
Ideally you will have an interest in movies, photography and nature.
You will need to be a driver with your own car and be happy to use buses when needed.

If a DBS is required we will scan and email your DBS information to the information officer at Newcastle Civic Centre. Documents will be stored securely and electronically until the DBS comes back and they will then be deleted.
