Hours: 3 hours minimum a week (potential for more hours)

My mum is a charming and lovely 93 year old but has some dementia. Mum has been very involved with church life as a volunteer at a church in Newcastle and was looking after other people until she was 86/87 years old. She has led a very active life. I am looking for a friendly Personal Assistant to engage and develop a rapport with my mum. She needs someone patient and with a sense of humour to engage with her. The role would be to take her out, ideally in a car, for a drive and a change of scene and then for a short walk. This is to keep her exercise up as much as possible. She has some exercises prescribed from the physio which the Personal Assistant could also try with her indoors. There may be additional hours to cover staff holiday or sickness.
