Hours: 1- 16.5 hours per week, 1- 10 hours per week

Rate: £11.10 per hour

Area: South Shields

 

I am a 66-year-old retired lecturer who likes help with gardening as I have a muscle wasting condition. I need help with the physical aspects of daily living. My condition causes pain and fatigue. I can’t walk very far and use a power chair. The affects of my condition vary – daily/weekly. I require assistance with personal care tasks, mobility, as well as household – meal preparation, laundry and medication. Support is required to access the community and attend hospital appointments. A sense of humour is essential.

Moving and handling experience beneficial.

NVQ – Health and Social Care Transferring.

Car driver preferred.

This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
