Female Personal Carer – LGNTH

📍 Location: Ponteland, Northumberland

Hours: 30 hours per week

💷 Pay: £15.00 per hour

🚗 Driver Preferred: Must feel confident driving daughter’s wheelchair accessible vehicle

🎓 Training: Previous experience in a care setting desired but not essential as full training will be provided.

 

Personal Carer for 15-Year-Old Girl with Cerebral Palsy

We are looking for a caring, reliable and patient Personal Carer to support our 15-year-old daughter, who has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. This is a rewarding role supporting her daily routine, independence, and overall wellbeing.

 

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping with personal care
  • Supporting mobility and transfers
  • Helping with daily activities and routines
  • Offering companionship and encouragement
  • Accompanying her to appointments, activities, or outings (driver preferred)
  • Working in a small team and alongside parents
  • Attending hospital appointments alongside parents or other care staff
  • Some light household cleaning
  • Laundry
