Female Social Personal Assistant – SBMNCL

Hours: 2 hours per week with scope for increase to the hours worked (to be arranged)

Rate: £12.90 per hour

This role is predominantly for a driver to assist with shopping but may include the other tasks listed.

Sultana is a lovely lady who is looking to recruit a female personal assistant to support her with a variety of domestic and personal care tasks. She lives in Newcastle Upon Tyne with her two daughters, her youngest daughter also suffers with some health issues. Sultana has various health issues including Spondylosis which affect her mobility and mental health. She used to love driving however she has been unable to recently.

Sultana is looking for someone who has experience of cooking Bengali traditional dishes as she likes to batch cook however she needs assistance with some of the preparation and cooking of these dishes. Sultana really enjoys making Asian cuisine especially Asian desserts.

Sultana needs assistance with personal care, which would include showering and dressing. She does like to get out to the shops to choose her ingredients for cooking however she struggles with heavy items and walking so would need someone to assist her to carry out these tasks. This role would include domestic tasks including laundry and keeping the home clean and tidy.

This position would require a driver to assist Sultana to accessing the community and support with shopping.

 

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male/female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010 schedule 9 paragraphs 1 – 4.
