Full/Part time Personal Assistants – RR North Yorkshire

Job Title:             Personal Assistant

Hours:                  We are recruiting a new team of Personal Assistants.

Part-time and full-time positions. Morning and after school, daytime school holidays, evening and sleep in.

To work as part of a 24/7 care team on a shift rota

basis 

Rate:                   £14.00 an hour daytime

£14.00 an hour when you are awake during the night

£8.72 an hour when you are asleep at night

Area:                 YO51 Boroughbridge Area.

 

About me

I am a 21-year-old lady living in a village just off the A1. I like walking, going on outings. cycling and swimming. At home, I like music, drawing, cooking and baking. I love travelling in the car with music playing, especially Queen.

I can’t talk but I am a good communicator and I have just started to learn BSL. I have autism, even though I am very sociable and so I need someone with experience who knows when I need advice and help. I am a very kind and understanding person and I would like someone active who loves life like I do.

About you

You will need to have some experience of working with people who have special needs. A driving licence is essential to be my PA. You will need to be comfortable supporting me with personal care, like having a bath. If you are sleeping over, you will have your own bedroom. You will need to be friendly and enjoy being outdoors.

The location is easily accessible with a good road network and close to the A1.

It is a requirement of this role that all candidates must have been Covid 19 vaccinated and must be able to provide proof of this. Facemasks worn outside the home in crowded places but not at home.
