Full-Time Female Personal Assistant FD/DP/NCL

A rare opportunity has become available to join a team of Personal Assistants (PAs) directly employed by a young professional disabled woman based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Salary: £20, 524 per year, paid monthly in arrears covering your on-duty and on-call time. Overtime worked when on-call is paid at £201.25 per twenty-four hours, pro-rata.

Requirements: Full-time, permanent position working on a rota working a 28-day rota with 7 ‘on duty’ days actively working split between two shifts of 3.5 days, 7 ‘on call’ days (acting as first reserve for staff sickness) and 14 days completely off.

On duty shift pattern per 28 days:
1 x Saturday 10am until Tuesday 10pm
1 x Tuesday 10pm until Saturday 10am
After each 3. 5 day shift there will be between 7 or 14 days prior to your next on-duty shift

When you are on duty you will be based at the employers home as well as travelling with her for work and leisure. You will be able to sleep during the night when on duty. Your ‘on-call’ time will be spent at your own home or place of your choosing, as long as you can reach Newcastle upon Tyne within 4 hours and are under the drink-drive limit.

The role includes providing physical assistance for a disabled woman to live independently in her own home and to undertake her demanding yet rewarding role at a large UK campaigning organisation, with frequent travel across the UK and occasionally Europe.
