Purpose of Job

My name is Charlie and I am looking for a Personal assistant to join my care team. I am 9 and I live with my family – this includes Mum, Dad, my four brothers and sisters and the family cats and dogs. You need to be an animal person to work with me! I need a Personal Assistant who is good company, tech savvy (I use technology a lot), patient, calm and reliable. It would be great if you are interested in some of the things I enjoy, like YouTube, watching football, playing with Play Doh, reading books, talking about the Hulk, and playing on the Wii (supported).

Ideally you will have worked with children with complex needs, including support around tracheostomy care and peg feeding.

You will receive full training on how to provide my support.

Please have a read through my Job Description before applying.

To apply you can complete the online application form, or request an application form from directpayments@disabilitynorth.org.uk

An enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
