Personal Assistant PA/Birtley

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Responsible to: Direct Payment Employer

Hours: 28 hours on a shift basis with the possibility of extra hours

Hourly Rate: £10.00 an hour

Holiday Entitlement:  5.6 weeks per year 

Area: Birtley

Personal care assistant required for a gentleman with a physical disability that needs assistance with most aspects of daily living.  He lives in his own home and needs some support to maintain independence.  Previous care experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will assist and work closely with the employer both in their home and out in the community.  Main duties will be to assist with a mixture of personal care and daily living tasks.

It would be preferable if you could drive and you would be required to drive the employers motability car.  Due to insurance requirements you must have a clean driving licence.
