PA Vacancy

Personal Assistant – RNCNCL

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (NE15)

Hours of work: 4 hours per week.

Rate of pay: £13.00 per hour.

I’m looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to support my 16-year-old son, Romeo. Romeo is a very chatty boy who loves listening to music and dancing when he is at home. He enjoys watching movies like Minions and Big Mama’s House, as well as spending time on the iPad.

Due to family circumstances, Romeo does not get out into the community as much as I would like, so I’m hoping a PA can support him predominantly in social settings. Romeo is keen to go to places like the cinema or out for a meal.

Romeo’s learning disability means he requires support getting out and about as well as with his personal care. Romeo can manage public transport when supervised, so whilst a driver is preferred, this is not essential. A PA will spend time learning from me (Romeo’s mum) about how to best support him.

A driver with own vehicle and clean licence is preferred but non-drivers may apply.
