Personal Assistant/Support Worker- DFNCL

Hours: 4 hours per week Saturday 9am to 1pm

Rates of Pay: £13.50 per hour

Location: Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne

Driver with own car essential, mileage will be reimbursed

 

Do you have 4 hours to spare on a Saturday? You could spend them with a friendly outgoing lady providing her with the support that she needs to take part in activities.

 

Purpose of Job

The role is basically to transport me to my swimming session on a Saturday

It is important that you are flexible and that you can work under my direction.

 

About Me

I am passionate about getting the voice of disabled people listened to. I work for Inclusion North as a leadership coach and have recently been working with a project called Bringing Change to the Board. I lead a group called the Women’s Zone and I am part of the special Olympics swimming team. I love football and I am an active member of the Newcastle United Disabled Supporters Association. I love to socialise, enjoy playing bingo attending drama clubs and am a member of my local slimming world.

 

You will be required to have an enhanced DBS check for this role (cost covered by the employer)
