We are a family looking for full support to allow our son with Cerebral Palsy to live a full and independent life.

I am a fun and outgoing young lad. I am 25 years old and from Ponteland. I enjoy live sports and concerts, having a drink, going in the gym, meeting my friends, meeting new people and having a laugh. I play a sport called Boccia. The applicant would have to assist with my personal care during training and at competitions. I am a wheelchair user and I use a communication device because I am non-verbal.

Applicant must be fun, sociable and motivated… but most importantly, able to have a laugh! This is an amazing opportunity to work with a young man with physical difficulties enabling him in leading a fulfilling and enjoyable independent life

The Role

The job will include personal care, cooking, housework, assisting with bookings and appointments and driving me to and from activities.

Applicant must be a confident driver with a clean driving license because I use a large accessible car to get around.

I also travel away from home for weekends so you must be okay with this.

28 days holiday pro rata.

Your rota will be provided a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.

Full training will be provided, references required.

Expected start date: ASAP

Closing date: 6th October 2021
