Hours: Full time. Continental shifts to be discussed at interview
Rate of Pay: £21,000 (under review). Plus opportunity for regular overtime. There is also a pension scheme in place

An exceptional person is required to enable independent living for a 29 year old male with Autism and moderate learning difficulties who has a funded package within his own home and in the community.

As part of a team you will need to work flexible hours covering 24/7 365 days a year helping this very able and sociable lad achieve a full and active life. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with young adults with Autism and challenging behaviours, but life experience and personality will be a key factor in securing the post.
You will play a vital role in facilitating the client to achieve his “best life”, promoting independence and social activities within a safe and stimulating environment.

Ideally you will share a mutual interest in sport (especially rugby), gym activities/training and social events in a safe environment.
You will be required to travel within the UK and abroad to facilitate the client to attend mixed ability rugby trips and holidays. Expenses are paid for these activities.
Car driver essential. The client has access to his own vehicle which you will be fully insured for and a full clean driving licence is mandatory along with a current DBS and references covering the last three years of employment
