Personal Assistant – GMGH

Hours: Shifts run 24 hours 8am-8am, 1 per week.

Rate: £12.61 per hour

Location: Rowlands Gill

Personal Assistant / Childcare Support Needed 

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Personal Assistant to support a young child and their mother, who has a physical disability, within their home. This role focuses on helping with the child’s daily care and routines, while also providing practical support within the household.

 

📌 Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily care of a young child (e.g., dressing, bathing, feeding, playtime.
  • Support the mother with physical tasks related to childcare that she is unable to carry out.
  • Light household duties related to the child (e.g., tidying play areas, preparing simple meals).
  • Accompany the family to appointments, outings, or activities.

 

📌 Ideal Candidate:

  • Kind, patient, and child focused.
  • Trustworthy, punctual.
  • Comfortable assisting with physical tasks (a genuine requirement of the role).
  • Experience with childcare or support work is helpful but not essential.
  • DBS/Background check required (will be provided).
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
