The Disability North Summary Annual Report 2018/2019 is now available to view online.
Included in the report is an introduction from the Chair of our Executive Committee (Jamie Cairns) and a message from our Chief Executive (Dr Victoria Armstrong).
The report contains a financial summary for the year 2018-2019 and details the impressive achievements of our Benefits Advice, Direct Payment Support, Payroll and Independent Living Services.
A brief overview is provided of further services that were offered by Disability North over this period, including our accessible room hire scheme and training package delivery.
Also included is information on the successful pilot and planned expansion of FundED, our new ethical fundraising scheme that engages local schools, promotes inclusion and raises awareness of contemporary disability issues in society. In the coming year we intend to develop and launch more innovative and sustainable income generation projects, including the DNEX Independence Directory which is previewed in the report.
