On the 19th of May the 10th Disability North Golf Day took place at the magnificent Hexham Golf Club.
With stunning views over the Tyne and a kind weather the 11 teams that took partset off for a great day of sport and fun at one of the finest Golf Courses in the North. The North Tyneside Council team, won this year’s tournament with a well-struck score of 89 and took the Disability North trophy “home”!
Disability North Golf Day has been organised as a way to, primarily, raise funds for our services and to give the opportunity to golf enthusiasts and friends of Disability North to support us while they enjoy a relaxed sports day, enjoy the complementary meal and network with each other. 
This year’s event helped raise over £3,000 which will go a long way towards Disability North continuing our invaluable work supporting disabled people in the region. So thank you to all the participating teams, which came from as far as Grantham, Linconshire!
