Due to the increased Covid 19 restrictions from 5 November 2020, this furlough scheme has been introduced from 1 November 2020 to last, initially, till December. The rules are similar to the previous scheme except employees must have been on an employer’s PAYE payroll by 23:59 on 30 October 2020 but they don’t need to have been furloughed before.

The Job Support Scheme that was to replace the furlough scheme on 1 November has been postponed until this furlough scheme ends.

More details on the extended scheme are available by clicking the following links from the BBC and the government

Wednesday 4th November 2020

Unfortunately, due to the new lockdown restrictions coming in on Thursday 5th November, we are sadly having to postpone the Ability North Project.

We will be restarting the project on the 4th of December, pending no further extensions of the lockdown measures.

At present we are making arrangements for participant sessions to be rearranged. All future bookings for the project will be on hold until the current participants have been accommodated. We will post an announcement as soon as the above has been finalised and we can then start to take bookings for further training.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and we look forward to the day we can get this show back on the road!

All the best and stay safe everyone.
