Wictoria (pronounced Victoria) is a lovely little 8-year-old twin to her brother Oliwer (pronounced Oliver). She lives with her mum and dad and siblings in Benwell, the family also have a lovely labrador dog. The twins were born very prematurely which has left Wictoria with learning difficulties and high functioning Autism. Wictoria is non-verbal and communicates by showing you her needs and wants, she can use some Makaton signs to assist her in communicating. Wictoria relies on a buggy when she goes out into the community both to assist her and to keep her safe as she is prone to running away and has no sense of danger. Wictoria is still in nappies so you would be expected to carry out personal care duties as her personal assistant.

Wictoria requires her food to be blended or of a soft consistency as she struggles with textures and solids, as her personal assistant you would be expected to ensure her food is suitable for her to consume.

Wictoria does not engage in technology and prefers to entertain herself with crafts or shredding paper and toilet rolls, this can be a repetitive behaviour. She is a natural “water baby” and loves anything to do with water, she particularly enjoys swimming and the sensation of shower water, so she would love a personal assistant to help her attend the local swimming pools, she also enjoys music when she is in the mood.

Wictoria is looking for a PA who can assist her in accessing the community where she would like to engage in activities like swimming, play parks particularly the swings, and the Tim Lamb Centre or places that have sensory provisions.

Oliwer is a lovely little 8-year-old twin to his sister Wictoria. He lives with his mum and dad and siblings in Benwell, the family also have a lovely labrador dog. The twins were born very prematurely which has left Oliwer with learning difficulties and high functioning Autism. Oliwer struggles with communicating effectively however lately he had begun to string words together to make short sentences, he will repeat your dialogue when communicating. Oliwer relies on a buggy when he goes out into the community but recently mum has been encouraging short walks without the use of a buggy. Oliwer can manage the toilet himself most of the time however he does require some personal care with some toileting tasks.

Oliwer loves pizza and chips, its his favourite “go to” food, he also enjoys trips to McDonalds on occasion. He manages to eat and drink independently.

Oliwer is a very caring little boy and quite protective of his sister however he does not like to spend all his time with her and prefers to engage in his own activities. He loves YouTube especially “Handy Manny” songs. Oliwer can speak both polish and English when he communicates and both languages are used in the family home.

Oliwer is looking for a PA who can assist him accessing the community where he would like to engage in activities like swimming, soft play, and the Tim Lamb Centre. He does enjoy a visit to the Alan Shearer Centre too when he gets the opportunity.
