The role is focused on companionship, safety, and encouragement—not personal care. Hours of work: 12 – 16 hours per week and overnight support. These hours are flexible and are to be mutually agreed.

Job purpose:

The job purpose is to assist a young person with accessing the activities in the community according to his interests. There may be some elements of personal care required. This will be on a 2:1 basis and you will work alongside another PA or one of the young person’s parents.

This role involves overnight support.

Zack is a high energy young person who enjoys attending boxing lessons and other sporting activities such as darts, golf, pool. His favourite sport at the moment is basketball. Zack has 2 puppies; Dotty and Quinny, who he loved. Zack has a great sense of humour and likes silly jokes.

Zack has a diagnosis of autism, ADHD and Smith Magennis syndrome. This affects Zack’s social interactions, behaviours and his understanding of the world around him.

My daughter is a kind and gentle girl who loves animals, especially cats. She loves going to cat cafés, zoos and anything animal related.  She is a confident swimmer and loves to go to the pool to swim, going to the trampoline park or to the cinema to watch the movies.  At home she likes jigsaws, puzzles, watching movies and baking.  She also enjoys arts and crafts activities led by someone else.

My daughter has autism, selective mutism, sensory processing disorder and night time epilepsy.  We are looking for someone who has the time and patience to get to know her and build up a relationship

Hello, I’m Mary and I’m a 77-year-old lady who is totally human and wheelchair dependent. I’m looking for a personal assistant to join my team of carers who take care of me 24/7. I’m partially sighted and wear hearing aids. I enjoy an organic diet and love to sit in my conservatory listening to books

I live in a fully adapted bungalow complete with hoist and I use a power chair.

The role is for 13 hours per week, all worked in one day, Friday and/or a Saturday, 8am till 9pm. There are also opportunities to pick up extra hours when cover is required.

My personal care routine involves assistance with showers, toileting and transfers (using a hoist – full training provided) meal preparation is part of the job as are some light household duties.

I would also like someone who has full driving licence as I have an adapted automatic van (a driving lesson will be provided) and like to go out on occasion, shopping or appointments. You must be over 25-year-old for insurance purposes.

The role is about supporting me to live independently, and I am looking for someone who can work as part of a team and can help me make each day and enjoyable and fulfilling.

I forgot to mention you need to like dogs.
