I am a retired woman and power chair user seeking two female Personal Assistants to support me in living independently and enhancing my quality of life. I live with a muscle-wasting condition that can vary in severity and often causes fatigue and pain so you must be able to adapt to fluctuating health needs

Therefore, I am looking for individuals who are understanding, adaptable, and compassionate in their approach. Kind, reliable, and respectful of personal boundaries

You will provide essential support with:

Personal care and hygiene
Light household tasks and meal preparation
Accompanying me to appointments, hydrotherapy sessions, and other outings
Assisting with day-to-day tasks as needed
Supporting medication routines, experience would be desirable (training can be provided if necessary)

A full driving licence and access to a car is preferred but not essential

There will be minimal weekend work required

References and a current full DBS check is essential

We are looking for a Personal Assistant who can support a power chair user, adult male (42) who seeks someone to act as a driver (person has own mobility vehicle) and companion.

Hours are 16 in total, normally 2 eight-hour days, usually Tuesday and Sunday, but you will need to be flexible due to the person’s wide range of activities and interests, hours and days can vary with the possibility of more hours.

PA will be responsible for driving to:

  • weekly athletic training sessions and competitions
  • to weekly archery sessions
  • to a weekly arts and craft sessions
  • occasionally to or from his place of employment
  • occasionally to his weekly drama club

This person loves days out so driving to Amble, Alnwick Gardens, Gibside, the Metro Centre and The Range is quite common practice.

Other activities that are of interest to the person are fishing, D.I.Y. and gardening.

A personal assistant to work in a team of 2, is required to support a tetraplegic lady in her 60’s with personal care.  Support will include bathing, dressing, light household duties, meal preparation and occasional shopping.  Full training will be given for all tasks. Personal care will be single handed.

She has a young outlook and enjoys activities such as days out, swimming, attending the gym, going to the cinema, theatre and holidays.

Female PA’s are preferred. Previous experience of working in a social care setting would be an advantage.

We are looking for a female personal assistant for a 35 year old with a brain injury, to work within a team offering 24/7 support, all year round.

The team of dedicated PAs are to enable this lady to achieve a full and active social life, playing a vital role to promote her independence.

We are hoping for a personal assistant who is fun loving, quirky and with a sense of humour to join the team.

This lady lives in her own property and requires 24 hour continued support with recovery, activities and appointments.

Care is provided on a team rota system in advance so flexibility will be required. However it is important that a slow introduction is established before overnight shifts can be introduced (this will be discussed at interview).

Full Training will be provided

There are no pets

Essential to hold driving licence to transport in mobility car.
