We are looking for a kind, reliable, and flexible Personal Assistant to support my daughter, Anna, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder and significant communication difficulties. Anna requires support with personal care, social activities, and emotional regulation. She uses tools like PECS and visual prompts to aid her understanding, and routine is very important to her well-being. Your role will involve assisting Anna with activities she enjoys, such as swimming, walks, or soft play, as well as helping her navigate daily tasks, manage her emotional responses, and ensure her safety, particularly around situations she finds distressing, such as encountering dogs.

No formal qualifications are required, but experience working with children with autism is preferred. You must be patient, dependable, and able to follow direction while maintaining confidentiality. Being a driver is preferred, and training will be provided as needed. This is a rewarding role for someone with a positive attitude toward inclusion and supporting disabled children.

Who We Are

Hi – we’re Michael and Daniel, and we’re looking for two kind, reliable and fun-loving Personal Assistants to support our amazing son, Frankie. This is a 2:1 support role, where you’ll accompany Frankie on social outings, helping him stay safe while making sure he’s having the best possible time.

Meet Frankie

Frankie is a vibrant, funny, and adventurous young man. His zest for life is contagious and he brings so much joy to everyone around him. He loves the great outdoors – bike rides, trips to the park, or swimming are right up his street – and he’s always up for exploring new things. Right now, he’s especially interested in birds, though his passions often change, which means no two outings are ever the same.
