She has Epilepsy and a neurological disorder which means she is non-verbal and sometimes uses a wheelchair for long distances. She is fed through a PEG tube, although she can eat soft foods.

The main part of this role is to support with accessing the community, hours are flexible and can be discussed at interview stage. There will be some personal care tasks involved, like changing nappies or clothing and PEG feeding. There may be some medication to be given through the PEG tube, but training will be provided for that. A very important part of your role will be to always ensure her safety.

My daughter likes to be around happy enthusiastic people so you should be confident and outgoing. Once you get to know her you will get to understand her way of communicating and when she is happy or unhappy.
