Female Personal Assistant/Support Worker – KITNCL

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours: 30–40 hours per week (negotiable) We are happy to discuss scheduling options that suit the successful candidate.

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Reporting To: Direct Payment Employer

Driving Licence Essential

 

We are seeking a Personal Assistant / Support Worker to join the support team of a female wheelchair user with an active personal, social and work life.

This is a contracted position funded by a Direct Payment from Newcastle City Council.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Supporting the individual in various environments – at home, at work, and during social activities
  • Driving a Motability vehicle for appointments and outings (a full clean driving licence is essential)
  • Working collaboratively as part of a small support team while also being comfortable working independently

This position is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1) and is open to female applicants only.
