Social Personal Assistant – HERTINCL

Job Title: Social Personal Assistant

Location:  Scotswood, Newcastle upon Tyne

Hours:  2 hours per week term time and 4 hours holiday time

Rate of Pay:  £13.00 per hour

 

Purpose of Job

My son is a happy and lovely easy going 9-year-old who loves to be active. He really enjoys being outside just about anywhere whether it is walking in the park especially Exhibition Park where he delights in playing in the sandpit or going to the beach and messing around in the water. Other activities that he enjoys are going trampolining or the Tim Lamb Centre. He likes to listen to dance music and observing people dance.

My son has been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. He also has some sensory processing difficulties which impact on his ability to independently engage in activities therefore it is important that he is supported in participating in any activity. He also has limited communication using only single words, so we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic with a genuine interest and enjoyment in working with children.

The purpose of this job will be to provide him with social assistance and assisting him in achieving his goals, ensuring his safety at all times.

Driver with a clean licence and own vehicle is essential.

Mileage will be reimbursed.
