A 57-year-old gentleman with a diagnosis of OCD. He is an intelligent and conversational gentleman who is currently completing an Open University course. Hobbies and interests are currently largely impacted by his OCD diagnosis.

The PA will be required to support the gentleman to take household waste to the tip, to support the gentleman to go shopping, to support the gentleman to keep on top of housework, and to work with the gentleman to support him to attend activities in the community that he would like to.

Prior knowledge or willingness to learn more about working with people with OCD diagnoses would be beneficial.

Essential that the person has access to a vehicle to support the gentleman with shopping and taking things to the tip.

Male Personal Assistants x 2

We are looking for personal assistants for a 44 year old gentleman who is a wheelchair user and lives with their brother, who also has a physical disability.  They have a brain injury, which has resulted in Paraplegia and communication difficulties. They experience some difficulties with emotional regulation and behaviour control at times, therefore the applicant should be resilient and patient in their caring approach.

This person requires assistance using hoist equipment and the personal assistant would join a small team as required for 7 days a week. Support with continence care may be required.

The role of the PA would be to support in accessing the community using public transport for recreational, shopping and other essential reasons.  Hobbies and Likes are eating out, attending clubs, going to the cinema and the music club.

They are able to make their own decisions but, the PA would also be to offer support with personal care, managing correspondences, meal preparation and ensuring his mental health does not decline.

Training for Moving and Handling, Catheter care and Medication administering would be given but, experience is preferred.

A driver is preferred but not essential.

There are no pets at the property.

We are looking for a male Personal assistant for a 21-year-old male who is Autistic and lives at the family home.  They require a PA who can understand and adapt to the circumstances, safeguarding a vulnerable individual with Autism.

The PA would be to assist this young gent with things he can`t do, encourage and help him making life fun and engaging, providing/ attending activities within his range.

The role is flexible, and the PA would need to adapt to the short notice.

Their hobbies are cooking, crafts, digital and hand drawings, golfing, bowling, beach walks and shopping, spending time outdoors.  The family would like to introduce them to swimming.

A driver is preferred but not essential.
