Join Team Leo!
Be part of the adventure — support a super fun 7-year-old!

Are you ready for a job full of laughter, climbing, bouncing, mess, and mischief? Meet Leo — he’s 7, autistic, full of energy, and always on the move!

Leo is happiest when he’s:

Bouncing on the trampoline
Climbing at soft play
Zooming around the park
Getting messy with slime, mud, water and… well, anything squishy!

Leo’s family is looking for two fun-loving, hands-on Personal Assistants to support him with 2:1 care, mainly to help him get out into the community, explore the world and have lots of fun. You’ll need to keep up with him – he’s fast, cheeky, and always curious!

About Leo:

  • Non-verbal but very interactive – he’ll lead you to what he wants (usually snacks!)
  • Cheeky, adventurous, playful
  • Loves toys (sometimes he throws them – just for fun!)
  • Sensory seeker – enjoys bouncing, smearing, splashing, and even making a bit of mess
  • Needs support with toileting, hygiene and being safe when out and about

Ideally, one of you will drive (Leo has a Blue Badge and a buggy) – it opens up more fun places to go, and helps manage his love for unexpected getaways (aka eloping!).

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Energetic, playful and up for an adventure
  • Calm, patient, and understanding of autism and sensory needs
  • Reliable, responsible, and can help with personal care
  • Willing to get messy (and laugh about it!)

This is a unique chance to make a difference in a little boy’s life while having a genuinely fun and rewarding role. Training and support will be provided – what matters most is the right attitude and energy!

Sound like your kind of job?
Get in touch and come meet Leo – your new favourite trampoline buddy.

Personal Assistant (PA) Wanted – Join Arthur’s Adventure!

Location: South West York

Hours: To be agreed with the family (starting with 1–2 hours a week, with potential to grow)

Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour

We’re looking for a kind, patient and understanding Personal Assistant to support Arthur, a creative and witty 14-year-old living in South West York.

Arthur is Autistic with PDA characteristics and has ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), which means his food choices are limited. He sometimes finds walking difficult over longer distances, so he uses a wheelchair when out and about.

He currently learns through a mix of online education with a specialist provider and one weekly school session.

🌟 About the Role

At first, your role will be about hanging out with Arthur at home, getting to know him, and building a trusting relationship. Once you’ve got to know each other, your adventures may expand to short trips out.

Arthur’s world is filled with imagination, strategy, and creativity. Some of his favourite things include:

  • 🎮 Gaming (Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox – he’s pretty versatile!)
  • 🎲 Dungeons & Dragons and other Tabletop RPGs
  • 🃏 Yu-Gi-Oh cards
  • ✏️ Drawing and creating new characters for games

As your bond grows, you might also support Arthur with:

  • Little outings like a café trip or short walk
  • Joining him at his weekly RPG sessions
  • Exploring new activities at his pace

👤 About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Patient, friendly, and reliable
  • Calm and adaptable, with respect for Arthur’s autonomy – he likes to be treated as the young adult he is
  • Interested in (or open to learning about) gaming, D&D, and all things RPG
  • Comfortable supporting a young person with neurodivergent needs

Experience with Autism, PDA profiles, or ARFID is a bonus, but what really matters is your personality, empathy, and willingness to learn.

✨ If you’re someone who can meet Arthur on his level, share his passions, and help open up the world at his pace, we’d love to hear from you!
