Join Team Leo!
Be part of the adventure — support a super fun 7-year-old!

Are you ready for a job full of laughter, climbing, bouncing, mess, and mischief? Meet Leo — he’s 7, autistic, full of energy, and always on the move!

Leo is happiest when he’s:

Bouncing on the trampoline
Climbing at soft play
Zooming around the park
Getting messy with slime, mud, water and… well, anything squishy!

Leo’s family is looking for two fun-loving, hands-on Personal Assistants to support him with 2:1 care, mainly to help him get out into the community, explore the world and have lots of fun. You’ll need to keep up with him – he’s fast, cheeky, and always curious!

About Leo:

  • Non-verbal but very interactive – he’ll lead you to what he wants (usually snacks!)
  • Cheeky, adventurous, playful
  • Loves toys (sometimes he throws them – just for fun!)
  • Sensory seeker – enjoys bouncing, smearing, splashing, and even making a bit of mess
  • Needs support with toileting, hygiene and being safe when out and about

Ideally, one of you will drive (Leo has a Blue Badge and a buggy) – it opens up more fun places to go, and helps manage his love for unexpected getaways (aka eloping!).

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Energetic, playful and up for an adventure
  • Calm, patient, and understanding of autism and sensory needs
  • Reliable, responsible, and can help with personal care
  • Willing to get messy (and laugh about it!)

This is a unique chance to make a difference in a little boy’s life while having a genuinely fun and rewarding role. Training and support will be provided – what matters most is the right attitude and energy!

Sound like your kind of job?
