Disability North is a free Independent Living Service which promotes social inclusion, independence and choice for disabled and older people in the North East of England and Cumbria. Disability North is a user led registered charity which works with, and for, disabled people, empowering them to maximise the control they have over their own lives.
Our Service Team can provide information and advice on equipment and activities for daily living (ADL), benefits and Direct Payments as well as advising on many other aspects of disability and signposting to other organisations who can help.

TLC, Just for Me - Gentle (Chair Based) Exercise and Relaxation
Newcastle Disability Forum has been fortunate to secure funding to enable us to offer 5 sessions of gentle, chair based exercise and relaxation to elderly and disabled people and carers who are resident in Newcastle. Unfortunately the time scale is very tight. Could you please help us by circulating the following information to your user groups:
"What: TLC, Just for Me - Gentle (chair based) Exercise and Relaxation; 5 X 1 hour sessions, followed by tea and time to chat;
When: Every Thursday 23rd February - 23rd March, inclusive 2 - 4 pm;
Where: At Newcastle Disability Forum, The Dene Centre, Castle Farms Road (opposite the Freeman Hospital);
