Personal Assistant – OMENY

Job title: Personal Assistant.

Hours: 4 hours per week during term-time (39 weeks) and 8 hours per week during school holidays (13 weeks).

Rates of pay: £11.44 per hour.

Area: Harrogate

Licences: A driving licence is not required to carry out this role.

Summary of the role:

Our son Oakley is 6 years old. The main purpose of this job is to work alongside us or on your own supporting Oakley within our home, in the location of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. As a personal assistant you will be required to accommodate and support Oakley and his siblings: ages 8, 6 and 5. It is mandatory that the individual applying for this role is comfortable with any routine tasks involving childcare and feels at ease when working with children.

Oakley is cheeky, happy, and always has a smile on his face. Oakley gains pleasure from playing Minecraft, PlayStation and building Lego structures during his spare time. His individual support requirements will be discussed in more detail with each successful applicant when deemed appropriate. Successful candidates will be required to assist Oakley with understanding his limits, as Oakley likes to push boundaries and is extremely rapid when making personal decisions, good or bad. It is imperative that the Personal Assistant appreciates the need for patience and encouragement whilst providing support to Oakley. It will be the job of the personal assistant to provide encouragement with educational activities, such as learning his times tables, improving his maths skills, or completing his homework. A substantial aspect of this role will be to aid and participate in activities with Oakley and his siblings to help facilitate the lifestyle they gain so much pleasure from.

Female Personal Assistant – CPANY

Hours:  12 hours – 2 evenings 5 hours (5pm-10pm) plus 2 hours on a Saturday morning 10.30am-12.30pm.

Rate of Pay:  £14.30 per hour

I’m looking for a Personal Assistant for my daughter, Charlotte. Charlotte is a very happy, fun little girl who requires a PA on a regular basis so they can get to know each other and have fun times in a safe environment.

Charlotte likes to chat about things she enjoys, especially horses and dinosaurs. She is currently learning to ride a trike and enjoys Disney films and outdoor activities like trampolining. Charlotte has sensory toys that she enjoys too.

Charlotte is a loving young girl however she can present with outbursts and has extreme difficulty regulating her emotions. Charlotte has a diagnosis of autism with a PDA profile, she also has Processing Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder.

Charlotte benefits from routine and consistency and does not like change, so having orderly systems in place works best to her needs. Supervision of Charlotte is always required.

Driving licence and own vehicle essential.

Job Title: Female Personal Care Assistant

Hours:  Monday – Friday (7am – 9am)

Rate of Pay:  £16.48 an hour

Location:  Harrogate

 

Are you a sociable female that’s willing to learn and offer flexibility? Can you support a young female to live an independent life? If so, this may be the job for you!

A Female Personal Assistant is required for morning shifts (7am – 9am) to “double up” with another PA to help me, a young female to live an independent life.  I am extremely sociable and love spending times with friends, watching films, chatting & shopping. Some flexibility is desirable, but your shift times are largely set. An open mind, commitment, willingness to help and an eagerness to learn are more important than experience in the care sector.
